And how fast November and December are going! 2011 has been an amazing year for me, shooting weddings, travel, magazines, two studio shows and graduating from school! I've been going through the hardy hard drives lately, trying to get a ton of new Edits up to make www.Domathon.com all spiffy new for the 2012 push, here are a few Gems I've dug up...hope you're all keeping busy and enjoying the holidayzzz!
Last weekend I had the honor of accompanying a German writer on a trip to Western Mass to reunite her father with this man, Matthew, a polish forced laborer during WorldWar II, who helped the writers family during the war. They hadn't seen each other in over 60 years. I was asked to take portraits of Matthew enjoying his life at home in Adams Mass for a German Publication. The shot I chose is of him enjoying a cassette of traditional polish dancing music. He usually sits in the afternoon by the window, kicks up his feet and listens to his tapes.
He died as he lived; wild and free, with his eyes wide open. His precious 24 toeses couldn't keep him outta trouble forever, I'll never forget you WhiteCat, or the magic you showed me. 2007-2011.
Went to TX last May and love to talk with strangers and see the sites. Found these scenes in Fredericksburg TX, also had a mediocre meal there at some crappy restaurant.
